AILET (All India Law Entrance Test)2021 is one of the prestigious Law Entrance Testsconducted by NLU (National Law University) Delhi.This is an annual exam organized for the students, who want to take admission into different Law programs offered by NLU such as BA LLB (Hons), LLM and Ph.D. programs. There are total 73 seats for BA LLB (Hons)program and 20 seats for LLM program. For the PhD program, a separate notification regarding seat availability is released in the beginning of every year by UGC.
NLU has recently released the official notification of AILET 2021 and it is scheduled to be conducted on May 6, 2021. In this post, we will provide all the important information related to AILET 2021 exam including eligibility criteria, important dates, Application form, exam pattern and syllabus.
 

AILET 2021 Registration

AILET 2021 Application form will be available on the official website of NLU very soon. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form of AILET 2021 to appear in the exam. Here we are sharing you the details the step to fill the Application form.
•    First of all, candidates need to create a login account by providing their personal information like Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Contact Address etc.
•    Candidates have to fill all the information correctly including the email id because all the communication regarding the exam will be done through email id.
•    After creating the login account, candidates have to fill the Application form.
•    Details to be filled in the Application form include Nationality, Examination center, Communication Address, Category etc.
•    Now, candidates need to upload the scanned copies of their recent photograph (150KB) and signature (150 KB).
•    Submit the Application fees either through online mode via Debit/Credit Card/Net banking or offline mode via E-Challan.
•    Now take out the print out of Application Form for the further uses.

AILET Application Fee

•    AILET 2021 Application fee for General Candidates is Rs 3000.
•    For SC/ST/PwD categories, Application fee is Rs 1000.
•    BPL candidates (SC/ST) are exempted from Application fee.
•    Candidates can either pay the Application fees through online via Debit/Credit Card or offline via E-Challan at Post Offices.

AILET Eligibility Criteria

AILET 2021 eligibility criteria details are as follows according to different courses:
•    First of all, there is no upper age limit for the candidates, who want to apply for AILET 2021.
•    For BA LLB (Hons), candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Final year students of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
•    For LLM, candidates should have LLB degree or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Final year students are also eligible to apply.
•    For Ph.D., candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Law from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (50% for Reserved Categories).
