AcSir Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program 2023 is supported and funded by The Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). Students possessing bachelor's and master’s degrees in Science are eligible to apply. The aim of this 2 months summer training program is to provide an opportunity to the eligible candidates to work at prestigious research Laboratories of CSIR with leading scientists of India. A total of 20 students will be awarded the fellowship. 

AcSIR Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Students wishing to apply for acsir – dr. apj Abdul kalam summer training program 2023 summer training program must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• 1st year of  M.Sc. program (at least first-class at pre-M.Sc. degree level)
• 3rd to a pre-final year of integrated M.Sc. program (GPA of 6.0 up to 4th semester)
• 1st year of M.E./M.Tech program (GPA 8.0 on a scale of 10 OR GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFTIs at B.E/ B.Tech level or GATE Score ≥600 or NET (Engineering) Rank from 1 to 100)
• 3rd year of B.E./B.Tech program (GPA 8.0 on a scale of 10 OR GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFTIs)
• 3rd to a pre-final year of integrated M.E./M.Tech program (GPA 8.0 on a scale of 10 OR GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFTIs (up to IV Sem) or GATE Scores ≥600 or NET (Engineering) Rank from 1 to 100

AcSIR Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program 2023 Rewards

The fellows will receive an amount of INR 25,000/- for the entire duration of the fellowship. Also, the awardees will get a travel allowance of up to INR 5,000.

AcSIR Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program Selection Procedure

Initially, the selection will be done on the basis of the research proposal and other screening criteria. After that, the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at a central location. Selection will be based on merit/ performance at the selection interview.
