National Level Science Talent Search Examination 2020-21, Eligibility Criteria, Rewards, Application Form, Last Date

Unified Council is conducting the National Level Science Talent Search Examination 2020-21 for the students of Class 2nd to class 12th. It is a popular exam conducted in Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Indonesia, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Tanzania, Nepal, UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and India. This test measures the understanding ability of the students and provides feedback highlighting strengths and weaknesses. NSTSE 2020 aims to improve the student’s performance rather than just checking the knowledge.

National Level Science Talent Search Examination 2020-21 Eligibility Criteria

Check below the eligibility criteria for NSTSE:

  • Students studying in Class 2nd to class 12th from a recognized board can apply for this test.
  • Aspirants must be pursuing class 11th and class 12th with PCM and PCB group.
  • For class 11th and class 12th (PCMB) group students, there is no exam.

 

National Level Science Talent Search Examination 2020-21 Rewards

National Achievers

  • The topper of NSTSE 2020 will be awarded a cash prize of INR 2 Lacs.
  • The top 3 rankers of each class will get a tablet, a memento, and a medal.
  • Students of each class who secures rank 4 to 25 will get a cash prize of INR 1,000/- each.
  • 26 to 100 rankers of each class will get BMA’s Talent and Olympiad Exams Resource Book from M/s. Brain Mapping Academy.
  • Also, all the rank holders of 1 to 100 will be awarded Britannica Concise Encyclopedia and Planet Earth (a pack of 2 CD) worth INR 1690/-, a Medal and a Certificate of Appreciation.

State Toppers

  • The top 3 rankers from each state will get a special award for encouragement.
  • Also, they will get a Britannica Concise Encyclopedia and Planet Earth (a pack of 2 CD) worth INR 1690/- and a Certificate of Appreciation.

Consolation Prizes

Top-ranked of each class from selected cities will be awarded a Britannica Concise Encyclopedia and Planet Earth (a pack of 2 CD) worth INR 1690/- and a Certificate of Appreciation.

National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) 2020-21 Application Procedure

Following are the steps which students need to follow to apply for NSTSE 2020-21

  1. Candidates can apply either directly/ Individually through the official website of NSTSE or through their respective schools.
  2. Click here to register online.
  3. Click on the below link to download the school registration form.
  4. Aspirants wishing to apply through their schools must contact their teacher.
  5. Students doing individual registration have to pay the exam fee of INR 300/- (includes 2 previous question papers/model papers, SPR, success series book, and postal charges). The fee can be paid via credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
  6. On the other hand, the students applying through their schools have to pay theexam fee of INR 150/- and INR 15/- for student performance reports (SPR). Schools have to send a single consolidated DD of exam fees of all students by courier/ speed post/ register.
  7. DD must be drawn in favor of UNIFIED COUNCIL payable at HYDERABAD.

National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) 2020-21 Exam Pattern

The examination scheme is as follows:

  • Question paper type - objective type questions will appear in NSTSE
  • Negative Marking - No
  • The number of questions - The question paper of class 2nd will consist of 50 questions (Mathematics 25 and General Science 25) and 60 questions for class 3rd to 12th class.
  • Marking scheme - Each question will contain 1 mark.
  • Syllabus - The question paper for each class is different and will be based on the CBSE syllabus.

  • Publication of answer key - 2nd week of February 2021
  • Result declaration - 2nd week of March 2021
