Pre Matric SC Cleaning and Health Hazard Scholarship (Tripura) 2020 are children of those who are engaged in professions related to cleaning, sanitation or are prone to health hazards, should send an application to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This scheme started by ministry aims to provide financial aid (Support/assistance) to the children studying in between class 1st to 10th. Students who'll get selected in this scholarship scheme will be provided multiple awards.

Eligibility to apply for Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Cleaning

To apply for this scholarship:

• A student must be the child of a person involved in manual scavenging, or the guardians of the child must be flayers, waste pickers, or are engaged in a hazardous health occupation (According to Section 2(I) ).
• The student must be a citizen of India.
• Domicile certificate of Tripura is necessary to apply for this scholarship.
• The student must be studying in any class between 1st to 10th.

Benefits/Rewards Of the Pre Matric SC Cleaning and Health Hazard Scholarship

Monetary rewards for students are as follows:-

• Students of class 3rd to 10th living in Hostels will receive INR 700 per month for a complete 10 months.
• Day Scholars between class 1st to 10th will receive INR 225 per month for around 10 months.
• Ad HOC grant will provide INR 750 to Day scholars and INR 1000 to students living in a hostel.

How to Online Apply For The Scholarship?

Follow up these steps to apply for the scholarship:-

1. Visit the official homepage of the National Scholarship and click on the option of 'New Registration.'
2. Read the terms and guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and Proceed.
3. Write the applicant's name, type of scholarship, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email-id, & state of domicile.
4. Provide the essential bank details like IFSC Code, Bank Name, Bank's Address & Account Number.
5. Select either Aadhar Number or Bank Account Number for complete identification & click on the Register button.
6. After mobile number verification, an OTP will be sent to your registered number.
7. Now log-in using OTP and fill the complete application form correctly.
8. After that, you'll receive an application id and password for future options.
9. Once the form is submitted, the candidate is not allowed to rewrite or edit the submitted details via the application form.

Necessary Documents for the Scholarship

Certificate of the student's parents showing the proof that they are employed in a hazardous health occupation issued by the Competent Authority. This certificate must be uploaded with the Application Form.
