Pre Matric Scholarship for Disabled, Maharashtra 2017-18 invites all the disabled students of Maharashtra state to apply and enjoy the privilege of this scholarship. The scholarship is granted by Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Govt of Maharashtra to disable students from Class 1st to class 10th. The beneficiary of the scholarship are the students who are blind, hearing impaired, low vision, mentally retarded, orthopedically handicapped, and mentally ill and leprosy cures. The main objective of this scholarship is to encourage education among disabling so as to get a positive attitude towards life.

Pre Matric Scholarship for Disabled, Maharashtra Eligibility 2019-20

• The applicant must be a domicile holder of Maharashtra.
• Studying in class 1st to Class 10th.
• Should have a minimum of 40 % of disability.
• There is no family income criterion.

Post Matric Scholarship for Disabled, Maharashtra Rewards 2019-20

Rewards details are as follows

• Class 1st to 4th for pre-primary education for hearing impaired – INR 100 p.m
• Class 5th to7th: INR 150 p.m.
• Class 8th to 10th: INR 200 p.m.
• Mentally retarded and Mentally ill up to the age of 18 years: INR 150 p.m
• For disabled trainees in the workshop: INR 300 P/M
