Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (class 9 & 10) Delhi 2020| Eligibility, Reward, Application Form & Last Date

It is being offered by the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC, Government of NCT of Delhi. This scholarship is available for those SC category candidates who are studying in class 9th and class 10th. The main purpose of introducing this scheme is to financially support the economically weaker students in pursuing school education. 

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students Reward:

• Students of class 9th and class 10th (day scholars) will get a scholarship amount of INR 225/- per month.
• Hosteller students will get INR 750/- per month.
• Additionally, the awardees will get books and ad-hoc Grant of INR 525/- per annum (day scholars) and INR 1000/- per annum for hostellers.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students  Eligibility:

The basic eligibility conditions for Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (class 9 & 10) Delhi are as follows:

• The aspirant must be the domiciled candidate of Delhi and belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• He/she must be studying in class 9th or class 10th in a Government school or in a School recognized by Govt. of a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
• The annual family income of the candidates must not exceed INR 2.5 Lacs.
• An applicant must not be in receipt of any other state/centrally funded scholarship.

Applications of this scholarship scheme have been started from 1st March 2020. Aspiring students must submit the form on or before 30th Oct 2020.
