SC ST Scholarship Karnataka 2021: Last Date, Eligibility, Application Process

Scheme of Overseas SC ST Scholarships, Karnataka 2021 invites application from SC/ST students who wish to go abroad for masters or Ph.D. level studies. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance up to 100% against tuition fees along with other financial benefits to deserving students. This scholarship also is known as Prabuddha scholarship
 
Overseas Scholarship, Karnataka 2021, provided financial support to SC/ST Students who wanted to go to foreign countries for Masters or Ph.D. studies. This scholarship is being offered every year by the Social Welfare Department under the Govt of Karnataka. Through this scholarship students can get financial assistance of up to 100% along with the other financial benefits.

Scheme Of Overseas Scholarships for SC/ST Eligibility 2021

Following are the eligibility criteria for Overseas Scholarship, Karnataka

• Candidate should be a permanent resident of Karnataka and belong to SC/ST category
• Age should be below 35 Years
• If the total family income from all resources is not more 6 lakh per annum, such candidates are eligible for 100 % financial assistance
• The candidates who had their family income below Rs 10 lakh per annum are only eligible for 33% financial assistance
• Under these scholarships, students can choose any of the following courses for studies. Engineering & Management, Pure Sciences & Applied Sciences, Agricultural Sciences & Medicines, International Commerce, Accounting Finance, Humanities, Social Science & Law
• The student should have obtained 60 % marks in the last qualifying exam.
• Applicant should have the admission letter from any of the Worlds Top 200 Universities.

Rewards Of Overseas Scholarships Scheme for SC/ST 2021

Selected students will get the following assistance

• 100 % financial assistance on Tuition Fee
• The student will get an annual maintenance allowance up to Rs 6 lakh or 75% of the cost quoted by the university, whichever is lower.
• Allowance for Books, other study material & medical insurance up to Rs 75000 for the full course.
• Airfare & Actual Visa Fee.
