Who is Eligible For B.Sc Agriculture Course?

The eligibility for B.Sc. in agriculture is as follows. One must meet all the eligibility criteria for hassle-free admission.

  • 10+2 Science stream with physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
  • Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Minimum marks criteria is 40 to 50% marks.

B.Sc Agriculture Fee Structure 2019

The fee structure of a B.Sc in Agriculture depends on the college one is picking. Generally, the fees of private colleges are higher than Government Colleges as admissions are also done through management quota under which fee goes 6 lac. Thefee structure of BSc agriculture is 36000 Per year to 90000 Per Year. Some colleges also provide a scholarship to meritorious students that cover academic/tuition fees, maintenance allowance up to some percent. Some scholarships are also provided under the Government of India like MOMA Scholarship 2019 and many others for the students who are capable but cannot afford their higher studies. Students can check for the scholarship in the college they are applying and can avail at the time of admission.

BSc Agriculture Entrance Exam last Date 2019

Some Entrance examination conducted for admission to B.sc in Agriculture:

ICAR Entrance Exam (ICAR-AIRRA) - It is a national level agriculture entrance exam conducted by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research. It covers 15% seats in agricultural universities in the UG program and 100% seats in IVAR deemed to be universities.

EAMCET- Full name is Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test and it is conducted for the admission to agriculture courses and for the universities in Andhra Pradesh. 

PAU Entrance Exam – It is for the admission in B.sc agriculture in Punjab State conducted by Punjab Agricultural University. The Application for Entrance Exam is available in both mode Online or Offline. 

KEAM – Conducted for the admission in colleges of Kerala. this exam is conducted by the office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams and run by the Government of Kerala. 

IGKV CET- This examination is conducted by Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya.
