Launched by our honourable Prime Minister, Pradhan Mantri Scholarship 2021 is bringing positive change in education standard of India. This scholarship is disseminated in various states under the department of Ex-Servicemen, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. It is also known as the Pradhan Mantri Scholarship and under sub scholarship, it is known as “Pradhan Mantri Chakravarti Yojana”.

Like any other scholarship, Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Yojana is also offered with an aim to provide financial assistance. The support is provided to the needy candidates who are willing to live their educational dreams. Pradhan Mantri Scholarship has been emphasizing the literacy aspect of the country because education is the only medium of growth. Through these different schemes, India is able to slow down its literacy rate and providing affordable education at every stage.

About: Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Scheme 

Pradhan Mantri Scheme is especially for the wards of Ex-Servicemen/Ex Coast Guard personnel, their widows, and state police officials who are /were martyred during terror/Naxal attacks. The applicants must have taken admission in the first year of higher education eligible courses. Under Pradhan Mantri Chakravarti Yojana 5500 scholarship will be disseminated for Ex-servicemen/Ex Coast Guard personnel and 500 for state police officials who were martyred during Naxal attacks.

The Kendriya Sainik Board of India every year invites the ward of Ex-servicemen, Ex Coast Guard personnel. The scheme is running under Central Government under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defense. The special focus has been given to encourage the higher studies of the wards and widows of defence personnel/state police officials martyred during any Naxal/terror attack. The scheme is only for the students who are willing to pursue their higher education and make their dream come true without any financial hurdle.

Eligibility Criteria for Pradhan Mantri Scholarship  Yojana 2021

To apply for Pradhan Mantri Yojana 2021 or Pradhan Mantri Chakravarti Yojana one need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• 12^th class Diploma /Graduation.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in class 12th/Diploma/graduation.
• The scholarship is for professional degree courses recognized by a central regulatory body  such as AICTE, MCI, etc
• Wards of civilians including Para-Military Personnel are not eligible.
• Applicants must be studying in the first year of the course.

Rewards of Pradhan Mantri Scholarship 2021

Under PradhanChattravarti Yojana selected students will be rewarded the following:

• The beneficiary amount of the boys is INR 2500 per month.
• The beneficiary amount for the girls INR 3000.

How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Form?

To apply for Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Yojana one has to follow the steps like:

• The candidate who wants to apply for Pradhan Mantri Chakravarti Yojana has to visit the official website ksb.gov.in
• Now click to the PMSS Scheme section.
• Now under this section click the” Apply online” option.
• Click on the option and open your registration form.
• Fill all the information correctly.
• You will get registered.

Second Step

• At the top of the homepage, you will get the login page.
• Now login with your user ID and password.
• Fill the remaining part of the application form.
• Upload all the mandatory documents.
• After successful submission takes a print out of application for future processing.

• The bonafide certificate that proves the student’s Bank Account linked with Aadhaar Card.
• Affidavit /Self Certificate of ESM.
• High School Marksheet.
• PPO Number.
• Passport size latest photograph.

• Fill the mandatory details.
