M.E. - Power Systems

M.E. - Power Systems is known as Master of Engineering in Power Systems, which is a postgraduate degree program. Power Systems is all about the study of emerging technologies such as power electronics, energy storage, renewable and distributed energy sources on the electric power system operation, control and protection.  It also covers the wind and solar electric, geothermal and small-scale hydroelectric generation. This course includes the topics on power generation, storage, transmission and about electrical machines.  
Through this course, students will get to know how the energy transmit and transform in industrial, military and transportation uses. In addition, students who hold Bachelor degree of B.E or B. Tech. can only apply for this Master degree program. Once they will gain this degree they can find many career opportunities in Atomic Power Plants, Natural Gas plant, Petroleum, Steel and Chemical Plants, Production Plant etc.
