The government of Himachal Pradesh welcomes applications for Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship so SC students, Himachal Pradesh. This scheme is for SC students who are in class 9th and 10th. The main aim of the scholarship is to minimize the rate of drop out of students. The scheme offers financial assistance to SC students of 9th and 10th.

Eligibility Criteria for Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

• Domicile holder of Himachal Pradesh and citizen of Himachal Pradesh.
  
• Must belong to SC category
  
• Must be studying in class 9th and 10th.
  
• Family income should be less than 2,50,000 P/A.

Rewards For Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

• Scholarship of INR 225, INR 525 for hosteller.
• Books and HOC grant (per annum): INR 750 and INR 1000 (hosteller).
• Travel allowance for blind students of INR 160.
• Monthly Escort allowance for severely disabled INR 160.
• Monthly allowance for orthopedically handicapped INR 160.
• Monthly allowance to mentally retarded and ill students INR 240.

How to Apply in the Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students?

• Click to "Apply Online" button.
• Visit the national scholarship portal and click on new registration.
• Read the guidelines carefully and then fill in all the mandatory information.
• Select the scholarship scheme, gender, write your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
• Provide Bank details (Bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
• Select the Aadhaar or Bank Account number as identification details and click on the ‘Register’ button.
• The mobile number will be verified and OTP will be registered.
• Use that login password for knowing the application status.

• The recipient of this scholarship cannot accept any other scholarship from any source.
• Students who are belonging to one state but studying in another state.
• Students domiciled in a state/ UT but holding SC of another state/ UT can apply for a scholarship in State / UT domicile subject to verification of the SC certificate from a state where it was issued.
