Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holder 2025 is granted by University Commission Grant of India. All first and second university rank holders of graduation courses are invited to apply from all over the country. The main aim of this scholarship is to encourage talented students to pursue their higher students after graduation by offering them financial support.

Are You Eligible?

Look for the eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship.

• Studying in PG course from any affiliated university (central/state) or deemed universities /private universities /25 autonomous colleges /non-affiliated colleges.
• Rank holder of last graduation exam.
• Must have completed graduation in one of the following streams:
  Life sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, earth sciences, mathematical sciences, social sciences, commerce or languages.
• Must have scored minimum 60% marks in graduation.
• Must be below 30 years of age.

Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holder Rewards

The selected candidate will get financial help of INR 3,100 per month for two years.

Application Procedure for this Scholarship

• For Applying Online Click “Apply Now” button.
• Visit the national scholarship portal and click to new registration.
• Read the guidelines carefully and then fill all the mandatory information.
• Select the scholarship scheme, gender, write your name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
• Provide Bank details (Bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
• Select the Aadhaar or Bank Account number as identification details and click on the ‘Register’ button.
• The mobile number will be verified and OTP will be registered.
• Use that login password for knowing the application status.

Documents to be attached with Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holder

• Attested copy of university’s UG degree.
• Certificate of matriculation.
• Verification certified issued by the institute in which student is studying.
• Scanned copy of Aadhaar card.
