E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2020-21, Odisha, Eligibility Criteria, Rewards, Last Date & Application Form

The Government of Odisha has been inviting the application form of thee-Medhabruti Scholarship 2020-21 for the domiciled students of Odisha. The government provides the scholarship through the higher education system on merit-cum-means basis. Under this scheme, the eligible students will receive financial assistance to meet their educational expenses. The scholarship is being provided for pursuing junior, senior, technical, and professional courses from a recognized institution.

e-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme Eligibility 2020-21

Below, we are providing the complete details regarding the eligibility criteria of this scheme

  • An applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed INR 6 lacs per annum.
  • Students have to apply for a scholarship in the first year of pursuing the course.

Junior Merit Scholarship

  • The student must be pursuing +2 courses from BSE, Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE, or equivalent educational boards.
  • It is necessary for the students to pass the 10th examination with a minimum of 60 % marks.

Senior Merit Scholarship

  • The student must be pursuing a regular 3 years degree course (B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com) from any recognized institution.
  • 10+2 must be passed with at least 60 % marks from any recognized educational board.

PG Merit Scholarship

  • Students who are pursuing M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com courses can apply for this scheme.
  • Candidates must have passed the +3 year degree courses from a recognized institution.

Technical and Professional Merit Scholarship

  • Aspirants must be pursuing regular technical and professional courses from the recognized institution.
  • To be eligible for professional and technical undergraduate courses, students must have passed 10+2 from CSHE, Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE, or equivalent board. +3 year degree is required only for MBA/ MCA/ MFC/ MSW with a minimum of 60 % marks.

e-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme Rewards 2020-21

The scholarship amount given to the selected students is as follows:

Junior Merit Scholarship

  • A total of 10,000scholarships will be provided to the awardees.
  • The scholars will get INR 3,000/- per annum.
  • The duration of this scholarship is 2 years.

Senior Merit Scholarship

  • This scholarship is tenable for 3 years.
  • There will be a total of 3000 scholarships.
  • Students who will get selected receive an amount of INR 5,000/- per annum.

PG Merit Scholarship

  • Under this scholarship, a total of 1500 scholarships will be given.
  • The selected students will get INR 10,000/- per annum.
  • The scholarship duration is 2 years.

Technical and Professional Merit Scholarship

  • A total of 10,000 scholarships are available under this scheme.
  • The amount offered to the awardees is INR 10,000/- per annum.
  • The duration of this scholarship will vary as per the course.

Important Dates For e-Medhabruti Scholarship Application Form

The application form of the e-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2020-21 has been started from 1st November 2019. The application deadline is 31st Jan 2020. Currently, the applications are available for both SAMS & NON-SAMS students.

Selection Procedure Of e-Medhabruti Scholarship Application Form

Basically, the selection of the students will be done on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying exam. If a tie exists, then it will be broken on the basis of an annual income of a candidate.
