Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat is inviting the Higher Secondary Scholarship (SEBC), Gujarat2019 applications from the students studying at the higher secondary level. Students belonging from the SEBC category can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to the backward classes and weaker sections of the society so that they can pursue their higher secondary education without facing any monetary problem.

Eligibility for Higher Secondary Scholarship (SEBC), Gujarat

Below are some of the eligibility conditions which students have to fulfill to apply for this scholarship

• The applicant must be the permanent resident of the Gujarat state.
• A candidate must pursue higher secondary education (either Class 11th or Class 12th).
• The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed INR 1,20,000/- (in case of rural) and INR 1,50,000/- (in case of urban).

Rewards of Higher Secondary Scholarship (SEBC) 2020

The selected students will receive the following benefits

• Class 11 students will get INR 725/- (for hostellers) and day scholars will get INR 475/-.
• Students studying in Class 12 will receive INR 1140 (for hostellers) and day scholars will get INR 840/-.

2. Fill all the details required for successful registration.
3. Once registered, log in your account using a registered email ID and password.
4. Now, fill the remaining details in the scholarship application form.
5. Upload all the relevant documents.
6. At last, submit the form.

Required Documents

• Passport size photograph
• Income certificate
• Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card
• Fee receipt of current course year
• Hostel certificate (for hosteller students)
• The first page of bank passbook/ canceled cheque
• Self-attested copy of previous year mark sheet
• Self-attested copy of caste certificate

Important Dates

Application form of Higher Secondary Scholarship (SEBC), Gujarat 2020 is now available. The last date to submit the application form is 31st August 2020.
