MOMA Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2019-20, Eligibility, Last Date, Online Apply Application Form 

Its invites all students from class 11th to P.hd level to apply. The scholarship is granted by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) to provide financial assistance to students of minority backgrounds. This scholarship focuses on the education of minority students who cannot afford their education and wants to reach great heights. The scholarship is for the students who are studying in recognized Govt./private schools/institutes in India. It is to be noted that the scholarship is reserved for 30 % for the girls. This scholarship is a central sector scheme which is 100 % funded by the State Government, UT administration.

 

MOMA Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Scheme 2020

  • Both genders can apply for this scholarship.
  • A Candidate must be residing in India.
  • A candidate must of minority class (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Janis, and Zoroastrians).  
  • A candidate must be in Class 11th, UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D., Diploma students.
  • Family income must not exceed more than 2 lac.
  • Must have secured a minimum of 50 % marks in his or her examination.
  • The scheme is only for two students from a family.
  • Students applying for this scholarship will not be eligible for other scholarship schemes.

 

MOMA Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Rewards 2019-20

The scholarship will be divided into the following parts -

For Class 11th and 12th - INR 7000 P/A
Technical and vocational courses(including fee charges, raw materials, etc) - INR 10,000 P/A 
Undergraduate and postgraduate - INR 3000 P/A

  • This is for both hostellers and day scholars.
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months only in an academic year which includes material of study etc.

For Class 11th and 12th including technical and vocational courses at this level - Hostellers - 380 P/M, Day Scholar - Rs 230 P/M
Graduate and postgraduate (other than a professional and technical course) - Hostellers - 570 P/M, Day Scholar - Rs 300 P/M
M.Phil and Ph.D. (for the people who are not awarded any fellowship by the university or any other authority) - Hostellers - Rs 1200 P/M, Day Scholar - Rs 550 P/M

  • It is to be noted that hostellers include students who are not staying in hostels of the institution but are staying in PG or rented accommodation in town/cities in which are not places where their parents live.

Required Documents

  • One copy of the scholarship application signed by the candidate.
  • Self-attested passport size photograph.
  • Self-attested copy of the entire mark sheets.
  • Income certificate.
  • Fee receipt of the previous year.
  • Community certificate.
