Admission to different physiotherapy courses depends on the marks of the last qualifying examination. Admissions are open for all the UG and PG physiotherapy courses. Applicants have to pay application form fee of INR 1500 from the university fee counter /Online or INR 1600 through post through DD in “Favor of Gaurav Bharti Shiksha Sansthan” payable at Dehradun.
To be eligible for SBSPGI physiotherapy courses students need to be 12th passed out from science background generally PCB/PCBM. To eligible for Masters course students need to have a BPT degree with a minimum 50% marks aggregate from a recognized university.

BPT or Bachelors of Physiotherapy is a 4 years undergraduate course, including compulsory 6 months of clinical internship. It involves the science of physical movement with an aim to prevent diseases and disability. The course involves education, advice and counseling services for circumstances where movement and body part functions are affected due to aging, pain, diseases, disorders or any environmental factors.

There are around 21 subjects pertained to physical medicine and rehabilitation like Anatomy, physiology, exercise and electrotherapeutics, biomechanics, pharmacology, medicine, surgery, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, etc.
MPT in SBSPGI is 2 years of duration full-time course. The program includes teaching/learning techniques including lectures, case studies, practical exposure, lab work, field visits, internship, etc. Students will be engaged in learning all types of healing activities, massages, and exercises. A therapist can practice in the area of gross motor development, postural management, hydrotherapy, orthotic assessment, and monitoring, etc.
