Debesh–Kamal Scholarship for higher Education/Research abroad is a small initiative taken by The Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata. This scholarship is for the postgraduates who are interested in pursuing higher studies /research abroad. The scholarship will be offered to Indian nationals and is open to all the caste. The selected candidates will be offered INR 1 lakh only for one year.

Eligibility Criteria for Debesh-Kamal Scholarship

• An Indian national.
• Excellent academic record till post-graduation.
• Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age.
• Candidates must show evidence of getting admission to the university abroad.
• Research students have to submit their application for the research project on which they have been approved by the university/institution.

Rewards of Debesh-Kamal Scholarship for Higher Education

The selected candidates will get a scholarship of INR 1 lakh. It is to be noted that scholarship is valid for one year and is not adequate for the candidates studying abroad.

• Attested passport size photograph
• Bank Draft INR 100 in favor of Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture.
• Copies of certificates and mark sheets.

Apply before 31^st Aug 2020.

Terms and Conditions

• Application Fee is INR 100.
• The subject of research in humanities and basic science. However, other disciplines such as applied sciences and technology will also be considered.
• Applicants have to bear travel expenses. Candidates appearing for an interview from the distance more than 100 km will be paid 2^nd class railways.
