Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research is inviting eligible students for the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research Post Doctoral Fellowship 2020. This scholarship is for Ph.D. holders to support high-quality research programs also seeing a person’s high-quality research program. 

Eligibility for Development Research Post Doctoral Fellowship?

To be eligible for this fellowship one should meet the following requirements:

• Must be a resident of India.
• Applicants must be Ph.D. in the fold of energy and environment policy.
• Must be under 40 years of age.
• Must have obtained 55% marks.
• Candidates who have completed within 2 years Ph.D. or working as JRF in an educational institution or strong publication record and one who have submitted their thesis by 31^st March 2020.

Reward Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research Post Doctoral Fellowship

• The selected students will get a fellowship amount of INR 70,000 per month for one year.
• The fellowship can be extended to another year if the researcher’s progress is satisfactory.
• A candidate who is getting salary more than a fellowship amount can get salary protection up to the scale of lecturer /assistant professor.
• Selected candidates will be provided on-campus accommodation
