Pre-Metric Scholarship for SC Students Class 9th 10th Assam 2021-22, Application Form, Eligibility, Rewards, Last Date  

Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India is offering the centrally sponsored scheme namely Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9 & 10) 2021 Assam. This scholarship is meant for the students of class 9th and class 10th studying in the Central/State Board of Secondary Education. Only Assam domiciled candidates are eligible for this scheme. Pre-Matric Scholarship for 9th and 10th students is tenable for 10 months in an academic year. The objective of this scholarship is to financially support the students of the Scheduled Castes (SC) category in pursuing school education.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9 & 10) Eligibility Criteria

• Students wishing to apply for this scholarship have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
• The aspirant must be the domiciled candidate of Assam and belongs to the SC category.
• He/she must be studying in class 9th or class 10th at affiliated schools of the central/state board of secondary education.
• The annual family income of the candidates studying in class 9th or class 10th must not exceed INR 2.5 Lacs.
• Candidates must not be receiving any centrally funded pre-matric scholarship.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9 & 10) Reward:

• Day scholars will get a scholarship amount of INR 225/- per month and hostellers will be awarded an amount of INR 525/- per month.
• Also, the day scholars will receive books and ad-hoc grants of INR 750/- per annum while hostellers will get INR 1000/- per annum.

How to apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9 & 10):

Following are the simple steps to apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for Assam SC Students:

• Aspiring students can submit the application form via online mode.
• For applying online, click to Apply Button
• Afterward, click on “New User? Register here”.
• Now, select scholarship name, state of domicile, scheme type, and fill in all the required details.
• Enter bank details and residential address.
• Verify your mobile number through OTP and move towards the filling of the remaining form.
• Fill in all the necessary details of pre-matric scholarship 2021 Assam and upload the requisite documents.
• Click on the submit button.
• Candidates must retain the system-generated application ID/user ID for further references.

• Photograph of applicant
• Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
• Copy of prescribed application form
• Caste certificate
