Technical Education Scholarship for PG/Degree/Engineering Courses invites all the applicants of Himachal Pradesh who are pursuing PG/ Degree/ Engineering courses from the institution recognized by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education ). Students can apply for this scholarship from within or outside the state. The scholarship is granted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance for education to students from underprivileged backgrounds.  

Technical Education Scholarship For PG/Degree/Engineering Courses Eligibility 2020

A candidate must meet the following criteria to apply for this scholarship

• Bonafide student of Himachal Pradesh or ward of H.P government employee.
• Pursuing PG/ Degree/ Engineering course from AICTE recognized institution.
• Must have scored a minimum of 60 % marks in the passing examination.
• Family income must not exceed more than 36,000 monthly i.e. from all the sources.

Technical Education Scholarship For PG/Degree/Engineering Courses, Himachal Pradesh Rewards 

Total of 175 selected students will get the following benefits

• The general category student will get INR 300 P/M.
• SC/ ST category students will get a 100 % scholarship and INR 500 P/M.

The students will be selected on the basis of 

• Family Income 
• Marks scored in the previous examination.
