The main aim of the scholarship is to provide financial support to the candidates to make the best of their future in terms of monetary independence.

Eligibility Criteria  

  • Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their last qualifying exam.
  • The scheme is for the students who are in the first year of their UG or PG course.
  • Wards and widows of ex-members of Army/Navy or Air force.

Awards

The selected candidates will get minimum to maximum 30k to 36k every year.

2- National Merit cum Means Scholarship

The main aim of merit cum means scholarship is to strongly support the economically weak sections of our society and help in reducing the rate of dropouts in class VIII. This way students, as well as parents, will be encouraged to continue their studies and making their education dream come true. This scholarship is given under the Department of Higher Education, Government of India.

Eligibility

Students who have scored a minimum of 55% marks in class VII examination.

Awards

The selected students will get INR 6000 P/A per student to study in class IX to XII in state government and government-aided or local schools.

3- Prime Minister Scholarship for RPF/RPSF

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF is offered by The Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The scheme is particularly for the wards /widows of ex RPF/RPSF personnel.

Eligibility

  • Applicants who are ward or widows of ex-RPF/RPFS personnel.
  • Must have secured a minimum of 60% in 12th, diploma or graduation.
  • Must be perusing a technical or professional degree.

Awards

Selected candidates will get INR 2,250 per month.

4- Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles

Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles is offered by the welfare and rehabilitation board, Ministry of Home Affairs. The scheme is for the dependent widows of central armed police forces and Assam rifles personnel and dependent wards of state police personnel to pursue the first professional degree at UG and PG level.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ward and Widow of deceased CAPF and AR personal who died on duty.
  • Personnel who became disabled at work.
  • Ward or widow of retired or serving CAPF & AR personnel below officer rank.
  • Ward or widow of receipt of Gallantry award.
  • Pursing professional degrees like engineering, medicine, dental, veterinary, MBA, MCA, etc.
  • Must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the last qualifying examination.

Awards

The selected candidates will receive the amount up to INR 3000 per month.
