Naropa Fellowship isavailable for graduate/ postgraduate students as well as for the working professionals of any field. Students who will be selected for this fellowship can pursue 1 year full-time residential postgraduate program with the commitment to work for the upliftment of Ladakh and other such remote Himalayan regions. Upon the successful completion of 1 year of fellowship, students will receive a certificate of completion of the program.

Naropa Fellowship 2021-22 Eligibility Criteria 

Here, students can check the eligibility criteria for Naropa Fellowship Programme:

• In order to apply for this fellowship program, students must have recognized undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in any discipline.
• Students must have an excellent academic record and extra-curricular engagement.
• Both students, as well as working professionals, can apply. Preference will be given to the candidates who belong to Ladakh and the Himalayan regions across India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Naropa Fellowship Benefits 2021-22

Total 50 scholarships will be awarded to the selected candidates. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee, accommodation/ hostel, and food costs. The total fee of the course is approximately INR 10 lacs.

Important Dates of Naropa Fellowship 2021

The application form of the Naropa Fellowship Programme has been started from 21st March. All the important dates of scholarship are as follows:

1st round of admission commences from – 27th April 
Interview for 1st round  - 25th May
1st round of admission closes – 31st May 

2nd round of admission commences from – 1st June 
Interview for 2nd round  - 25th June 
2nd round of admission closes –5th July 

3rd round of admission commences from – 6th July 
Interview for 3rd round  - 25th July 
3rdround of admission closes –10th August 
The program starts at Hemis campus – 1st September 

Selection Procedure of Naropa Fellowship 2021-22

Firstly, students will be selected on the basis of their applications received. The shortlisted candidates' Naropa Fellowship reviews will be interviewed in Hemis/Leh, New Delhi, or via Skype/Phone. Naropa fellowship reviews will be awarded to the deserving candidates based on the merit and the financial need of the students.
