List Of Jobs In Indian Navy After 12th

Indian Navy gives an opportunity to all the male candidates who have completed or in the last year of their intermediate studies. A candidate must from science stream having a good academic record. One can apply by two methods:

1) Artificer Apprentice 

The educational qualification for AA is +2 from PCM stream. Candidates get up to Rs 8,030 to 19,700 p/m in training and gradually increase.

 

2) Senior Secondary Recruits  

The educational qualification of SSR is that candidates should be 10+2 from PCM stream. Selected candidates will be given INR 4,500 P/M during training and pay is INR 5,300 to INR 16,000 P/M.

3) Indian Naval Academy Entry

These procedures and tests are held by Union Public Service Commission.

Entry through National Defense Academy

  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Their age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
  • Must be 10+2 in science stream with Physics and Mathematics as the subjects.

Medical Test

Candidates need to pass some medical standards that are set by the authority which are as follows:

Below given is eyesight standard which is set by the medical committee:

  1. Corrected Vision-6/6, 6/6
  2. Uncorrected Vision – 6/6,6/9
  3. Limits of Myopia- -75
  4. Limits of Hypermetropia- +1.5
  5. Limits of Color Perception- I
  6. Binocular Vision –III
  • Good hearing ability
  • The absence of the nose, throat or ear diseases
  • No Speech impediment
  • No granular swelling
  • Should not have Hernia
  • The absence of a congenital defect
  • Gums and set of teeth must be healthy.
  • An absence of mental illness.

  • Candidates applying under B.Tech Engineering/Electrical officer should 10+2 from science stream with PCM and English as the subjects. Further one should have scored minimum 70 % marks in PCM and 50 % marksin English.

1) Post of Steward, Chef and Hygienists - Indian navy recruits for these mentioned posts under group C in which selected candidates will get a decent salary package with other allowances.

Eligibility Criteria - Applicants must have passed Matriculation/Class 10th or hold a relevant qualification from a recognized board.

Age - Applicant’s age must be 17 years or maximum 21 years as on April 1st to March 31st, 2001, dates included.
