Xavier Institute of Communications is commonly known as XIC, it is one of top institute for Mass Communication. It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The institute has been established in the year 1969. It has been ranked 3rd amongst the Top Ten by Outlook magazine 2021.

Offered courses of the institute are advertising & marketing communication course, advanced Integrated Communication Program, Public Relations and Corporate Communication course etc.

Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai Admission

Students can fill online as well as offline application form.

For admission to PG Diploma, students must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized University. They need to obtain minimum aggregate marks of 50%  in qualifying examination. Students will have to appear in Online Entrance test and Personal Interview conducted by Institute. Final selection for admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in online entrance test and performance in Personal Interview.

For Certificate course, must hold bachelor or master degree in any stream from recognized University. They have to appear in OET (Online Entrance Test) followed by Personal Interview.

The age limit is not more than 35 years in the year of applying for the course.

The online entrance test consists 150 marks and duration of 90 minutes.

After the completion of Entrance test, students have to appear in PI through SKYPE. The personal interview will be held on the same day of entrance Test.

 

Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai Fee Structure

The fee of course is different and not very less. The fee for PGD course is Rs.3,43,000 p.a., Advanced integrated communication Programme Rs.2,27,000 p.a, PGD in  Development Communication Rs.1,25,000 p.a.
