Post Matric Scholarship for St Girls Students is provided by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat.  Students from class 11 to postgraduate level are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme. Through this scholarship, the financial assistance to the girl’s candidates of schedule tribe category (ST) is provided. Candidates belonging from the Gujarat state will only be eligible for this scholarship.

The basic eligibility criteria for Post Matric Scholarship for ST Girls Candidates, Gujarat is as follows:

• Firstly, students must belong to the Gujarat state.
• This scholarship scheme is only meant for scheduled tribe (ST) girls candidates studying in class 11 to post-graduation.
• The family annual income must not exceed INR 2, 50,000 per annum.

Terms & Conditions For Post Matric Scholarship For ST Girls Candidates

• Students enrolled in PG medical course can also apply but such candidates are not allowed to carry out professional practice during the course.
• Those students who are doing the same stage of education with the different subjects cannot apply for this scholarship.
• Students who are working can also apply for this scholarship but such candidates have to take leave without pay for the entire duration of the course and study as a full-time student.
• Candidates pursuing their studies through correspondence can also apply.

Important Dates

All the aspiring candidates are informed that applications for Post Matric Scholarship for ST Girls Candidates, Gujarat 2019 have been released. Students must submit their application on or before 24.1.2020

Selection Procedure

The number of students gets selected for the scholarship depends upon the fund availability and the application received by the government. Also, the student’s selection will be based on their performance in the previous examination.
